Kit Bashed Power Panel

I used to use the Power Panel casting a lot, a few years back Mattel tweaked the casting to have a plastic sunroof, probably to lighten the casting and save some Zamac cost. The change made the casting a pain to work with, so I don’t do many Power Panels these days, they also are a very profitable casting to work with.

This one was a side project, just see if I could wrap the exhaust in interesting ways. I like how it worked out. Is also weathered. One thing I’ve never figured out is how to seal the weathering with a matte finish where the weathering powers don’t turn dark. If anyone knows the trick, let me know
