The first image below is a photo of an image I made waaayyy back in my college days. The image was made with acrylic paints & colored chalk. The original is about 4 ft. X3ft. It was a phase I went through, I was a huge fan of the surrealists and post modern work of all types.
The picture isn’t a great work of art, my design skills have improved and I don’t think the original meaning of the work has held up over time. All in all, it is just a f in reminder of where my art skills started.
The image that follow the original, are created in Firefly, with my original image tagged as the reference. The prompts I used change the styles up, and I used some other artwork of mine as references for the color palettes.
These are raw Ai generated clones of the original, I would normally take these Ai generated works into Photoshop or Illustrator and fix, tweak, move around, repaint all the odd Ai artifacts. Showing them here to display what a cool tool Firefly is. It took an image of mine I made over 30 years ago, mixed in palettes from other works I did, tweaked the style to update the image and even integrated in the theme.
