River Road Diorama

This isn’t a new diorama, is about ten years old, but selling it, so I thought I’d document it here for the memories.

I find I do Ike the dioramas as display pieces, but they take up a lot of room, so I sell them off after a while to make room for new ones.

This one is a foam base with plaster covering. I almost always use plaster as the top layer, I’ve tried various brands of paper mulch, I think it is called modeling plaster, but I don’t like it, is too mushy for me.

I usually carve and model the dried plaster with a Dremel to get the texture I want.
