I’ve posted these before but found some better photos. These are all painted castings, with white water slide cutouts, with color water slides on top. So the paint is what you in the background, not a background on the water slide decal.

Short version, can use fancy paint with this technique, not just rely on a painted decal for the background.

The techniques takes more time, and not one I would use for a large edition, but works great with graphics with lots of fonts or delicate design work.
